• We have a field trip Friday to the Museum. We will leave TPS around 9:45 and return around 12:00. Sage will pack our lunches to eat on the Museum grounds.

Sept. 12-16

Mrs. Hixon, Anna's grandmother, read a book to our class after she had visited the second grade for Grandparent's Day. She has the best reading voice!!!! Mrs. Hixon is a retired school teacher and led the Grange Hall at Old Alabama Town.

Thursday was such a pretty day that we went outside to play our spelling game, Battleship. The children drew the name of their opponent out of a bucket.








On the rainy days this week, we played a sequence game.

• Bible- Lesson 5-The Flood. We have begun to learn steps in Walk Through the Bible. Your child should be able to tell you the story that goes with each motion.

• science- pp.130-137
• Mid-term reports will go home in Monday folders. Please sign the mid-term report as well as the folder.
